Munchingo ("we", "us", "our") is a sole proprietorship of Prashant Nahata, operating from H. No. 43, Sector 14, Faridabad, Haryana, India. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you interact with us — through this website, WhatsApp, or Instagram — and how we use it.
Information we collect
We collect only what's needed to take and fulfil an order, or to respond to your query:
- Contact details — your name, phone number (WhatsApp), and email address (only if you choose to give it, for order-confirmation emails).
- Delivery address — collected when you place an order, used solely for shipping.
- Order details — items, quantities, and amount paid.
- Payment information — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details. Payments are processed directly by Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway, under their own privacy policy.
- WhatsApp messages — if you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is handled through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- Basic site analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-first: it does not use cookies or collect any personally identifiable information, and only reports aggregate traffic (e.g. page views).
- Site analytics (Google Analytics) — we also use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this site — pages viewed, navigation paths, and general device, browser, and approximate location information. Unlike Cloudflare Web Analytics above, GA4 uses cookies and shares this data with Google for analytics processing. See Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
- Ad tracking (Meta Pixel) — this site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand which pages you visit, so we can measure how our ads are performing and show you more relevant Munchingo ads on Facebook and Instagram. This shares browsing data — such as pages viewed and general device/browser information — with Meta. See Meta's Privacy Policy and how Meta uses this data for ads. You can control ad tracking through your browser's privacy settings or Meta's own ad preferences.
How we use your information
- To confirm, process, and ship your order.
- To send order-status updates and payment links, on WhatsApp and (if you provided one) by email.
- To respond to questions or support requests you send us.
- To improve our products and this website.
- To measure and improve our advertising, and to show you more relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
The service providers required to fulfil your order: Razorpay (payments), our courier partner (delivery), Meta/WhatsApp (order communication), Resend (transactional email), and Supabase (secure database hosting for order records). We also share browsing data with Google via Google Analytics and with Meta via the Meta Pixel, both described above, for site analytics and advertising measurement respectively. Each of these processes data under their own privacy terms. We do not share your information with anyone else, and we never sell it.
How long we keep it
We retain order records for as long as needed for accounting, warranty, and legal record-keeping purposes (typically up to 7 years, in line with standard Indian business record-keeping practice), after which they may be deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time by writing to info.munchingo@gmail.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
Children's privacy
Munchingo is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
